Orion Nebula
Orion Nebula. I love a challenge and photographing deep space objects from deep in the city of San Antonio is as big a challenge as a photographer can get. The light pollution is beyond bad but even so, with enough patience, I can still see a nebula here and there if I get enough time.

California Nebula
The California Nebula. Not one of the more common ones you see folks shoot but after about 8 hours of exposure time I was able to get this one. It is, to date, my favorite shot.

The Ole Moon
The Ole Moon. Its hard to be uninspired as a photographer when I always have my dear friend, the moon, watching over me. I never tire of shooting this with my telescopes and cameras.

3i/Atlas
3i/Atlas. I have been dismayed that this little blurry point of light in the center of this image was the best 3iAtlas photo I could get to date. Then NASA had its big press briefing after the government shutdown and released their images and, well, I don’t feel so bad anymore. Give me millions of tax payer dollars and I will deliver amazing shots, I mean this rivals theirs and its an under $1k investment.

Comet Lemon
Comet Lemon. I am new to shooting comets so my hope is that over time I will wonder why I ever posted this particular image LOL

In Celebration of All of It
Still life photography. Here is a celebration to the very end. October 2023 Eclipse. This was my first adventure shooting an eclipse and it was nothing short of magical.
